Lundqvist Puts on Show: NY One Win Away

Rangers 2 - Capitals 1
Rangers Lead Series 3-1

It's this simple for the Rangers, win one of the next three games and progress to the next round. The Rangers however will try on Friday to advance to the next round as quickly as possible when they head back to Washington for Game 5.

Henrik Lundqvist had his best game of the playoffs tonight, which is saying a lot considering he was great in the first three games. Paul Mara scored off a deflection in the first period and Chris Drury scored what turned out to be the game winning goal early in the second period. Ovechkin finally got into the goal column when he unleashed a wicked shot that got past Lundqvist, but thankfully that ended up being the only shot that got past Lundqvist.

If the Rangers do win this round against the Capitals, their opponent in the next round will be Boston, who completed their sweep of Montreal tonight. [Link]

There is only 1 reason why NY is still in the playoffs -----> Lundqvist

Funny, that's the same reason why soon enough the Caps won't be in the playoffs ;)
