Rangers Sign RFA Brian Boyle

According to TSN:

The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Brian Boyle, according to team president and general manager Glen Sather.

The 24-year-old Boyle was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a third round pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Can't say that this wasn't expected. We'll just have to wait and see what the terms are, I'd expect it to be $1M or less.

Now onto the more important RFAs Glen (Dubinsky & Callahan)

Update 7/9:

According to Blue Notes:

Boyle's deal is $525,000 per for two years, down from his $750,000 in '08-09. Looks like a bargain.
