Game Day Notes: Rangers vs Kings

  • Looks like the Rangers lineup will be the same as the one that beat the Leafs 7-2 on Monday night at the Garden. There could be one exception, Donald Brashear (who didn't practice yesterday) will be a game time decision, if he doesn't go then Aaron Voros will step back into the lineup.

  • Erik Ersberg, backup goalie for the Kings will get his first start of the season

  • The Kings' first line (Anze Kopitar, Ryan Smyth and Justin Williams) -- have totaled 9 goals and 14 assists in five games.

  • Each team has a mini winning streak right now (Rangers 5 wins in a row, Kings won past 4), but only one of them will finish the game tonight with that streak intact
